Petrol and Umar Filling-Station
The petrol issue is facing, by masses in the period, when prices of petrol fell down, that means the track down effect should have gone the public. This should available in every corner of the country easily, but availability it volatile, why? The Govt should take the concrete step towards its availability.
Introduction:
A week back, some of my friends come to meet me, we have visited the Peshawar city, after completing our necessary works in Peshawar, my friend told me, we will drop you at home and then will back to our village, as they are belonging to District lower Dir. As we reach to my hometown, they dropped me and gone to refill the petrol from the filling station but cannot find the petrol; they have visited several Petrol filling stations, but the petrol was looking volatiles, from the filling stations.
They called me and told the whole situation; I have offered him to come back and take stay here because this is not the time to go back to their hometown. They came and stayed with me.
The next day, early in the morning, we have visited several petrol pumps in Swabi but failed, then I called Mr. Muhammad Imran, a dealer of Gas and Oil company Pakistan Limited at Umar Filling Station Aldo-Ghazi. He replied, come here we have the petrol, we felt happy and reach there because one of my friends has to go back early as he has no male at home except him.
We reach the Umar Filling Station, but the queue of motorcycles, motor cars, and other vehicles showed, we would not found any petrol, my friend Mr. Imran come to meet me and told, sir please keep the vehicle in the queue, because the petrol would be provided on merit, because the peoples have come from three adjacent Districts, including Haripur, Swabi and Attock. He offered me the tea and cold-drink' and a waiting-room for the wait, but not the offer to fill the vehicle without number, as this organization strictly working on a merit basis.
During that era, his father approach to the station and met me, as he knows me well, during the general discussions, he knew about my visit and he asked his son, to fill his vehicle early, as his guest has to travel long, but Mr. Imran replied, Dad' I know him well, but my company ordered me to maintain the merit in the distribution of petrol to the public, and instruct me the compliance of the Govt directives and I am bound to act upon as per my agreement with a company, and also the public has trusted me, because of this trust, they have come from far-flung areas of three adjacent districts.
I was feeling very shameful among my guests, but my guest' are also educated people, and told me, as he is maintaining the merit, which is the demand of our nation, for long including us, then why you are going upset.
Mr. Imran also apologized me, and said, sir actually we have compelled to maintain the merit because, because our company instructed us to deliver the petrol to all customers with equal treatment, the local media also watch us, and my board members also instructed me to maintain the merit, if I will do wrong then I cannot reply to anyone, and especially I will not be able to reply our Almighty Allah.
We received the petrol and my guest goes back to their hometown at District lower Dir. As they reach and telephonically call me back, and said, you are the lucky one that, there is a Petrol pump, who are providing the petrol to you peoples, as we have traveled from you, and cross the whole districts Swabi, Mardan and even our hometown district, no one was ready to provide a single liter of petrol to us.
They were looking very happy, to the dealing of Mr. Muhammad Imran, then I go back to meet Mr. Imran and thanked him for his cooperation, also asked about the company owner and the distribution area manager, he told me about their company’s owner, that he has strictly warned them about a de-merit decision during filling according to Govt instructions, and he has ensured the supply to their filling station with no shortage, while other companies filling stations has dried, but the Umar filling station has not dried till date.
I have designed a post and share it on my Facebook site; I have received certain comments, and it shocked me, that the only filling station in ghazi (Haripur), Topi (Swabi), and Hazro (Attock) were supplying the petrol to the masses.
I am grateful to the Area Sales Manager Mr. Wasim Kaskar, CEO Mr. Khalid Riaz of Gas and Oil Pakistan LTD, and I am paying special thanks to Mr. Muhammad Imran dealer of Gas and Oil Pakistan LTD at Umar Filling Station Aldo-Ghazi, for his support that he had provided me, and for the general support, to all the peoples belonging to this area concerned.
Conclusion:
I am concluding;
• The Govt should take strict action against the petrol supplying companies, which cause the people in trouble.
• The Govt should promote the Gas and Oil Pakistan LTD Company for the insurance of the petrol availability to the masses.
